Why Blueberries are a Superfood!

What are the benefits of eating blueberries and how can I add them to my diet? Simple! Add fresh or frozen blueberries to make a fresh smoothie using ice (11/2 c), milk (2 cups or more) or milk substitute, 1 banana, 1/1/2 cups of blueberries and a 1/2 cup of plain greek yogurt. Put your ingredients into a blender and make sure you add enough liquid to cover the berries, ice, banana and yogurt and blend. Enjoy!

2. Cholesterol free.

3. Antioxidant so they help to protect you from free radicals.

4. Low in calories.

5. Source of Vitamin C.
